Carrollton, Ky. — February 28, 2020 — The Educational Excellence Foundation of Carroll County, Inc. — a nonprofit organization — is accepting nominations for two parent-directors and two community-directors for its board. Nominees for parent-director must have a student in the Carroll County School District.
Terms begin July 1, 2020, and last for one year. All directors serve as volunteers. Individuals may nominate themselves.
The Educational Excellence Foundation of Carroll County was founded to support educational initiatives in the community.
In 2019, the Foundation accomplished, among other things, the following:
- Awarded more than $13,000 to Carroll County High School students for dual-credit tuition
- Sent $1,300 to the Carroll County Area Technology Center for textbooks
- Granted $2,500 to the Carroll County Middle School Beta Club
- And much more!
