Teachers should use a variety of assessments to formatively and summatively monitor student progress toward standards.

a) State standards are inconsistently used in the development of formative and summative assessments.
b) PL/CS assessment measures are responsive to a variety of learning styles and abilities (oral, written, performance, visual, active learning, hands-on learning, collaboration and cooperative learning, teacher/peer/self reflection.
c) A formalized plan is in place to monitor the completion of students' ILP.
